			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lots of people watch a game of soccer and do not know the number of hours go into practicing the various <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/mastering-soccer-skills-with-the-help-of-your-coach">soccer skills</a> needed to play the overall game.  To become a decent player, it will cost considerable time doing boring <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/improving-soccer-skills-tips-that-work">coaching drills</a>.  These are the foundation of soccer; they help you to get a body used to doing certain moves and never have to consider it.</p>
<p> Running down an area while keeping charge of a ball isn&#8217;t as easy since it looks.  Consider that you will see many other people looking to get that ball away from you and it is even harder.  Whenever you join a team become familiar with how to move having a ball, how to keep it from another team, how to pass it, and you will learn to do this while running as quickly as you can.  If you&#8217;re able to have a minimum of a part of what you ought to do almost automatic, you&#8217;ll be able to focus on other activities.  The drills will help you with this particular.</p>
<p> While at practice you need to be careful about your team mates too.  Learn how they move, listen once the coach lets you know about individual strengths and weaknesses.  Soccer is really a team sport, and also you all have to know how to experience with one another.  Don&#8217;t think of the hour you spent passing the ball around the field like a chore or punishment, instead pay attention.  As it pertains game time you will have to know things like number 3 is excellent when the ball is due him about the right, but misses a lot if developing the left.</p>

<p> Soccer may not be a full contact sport, but there is lots of endurance needed, and a lot of skill.  If you plan on playing the overall game, take time to discover the basic soccer skills and plan on practicing a lot!</p>

<p> During soccer weight training the aim is to improve the strength, speed and stamina of the muscles instead of just increasing the muscle weight. Though the importance of upper body weight training for soccer is not as much as the legs, we still go on with it for general conditioning and strength.</p>
<p> I think fitness training should start with the legs. It should be started with the crouching exercises first. Now place the bar with which your players can make 20 reps. Considering that they have good strength, hence give them 220 pounds to start with. They have to get under the bar, with it resting across their upper back, and stand up with it.</p>
<p> Next tell them to stand having their shoulders and feet width apart. They must hold it as they go down until their hips are slightly lower than the top of their knees. Coming up to this point in weight training soccer, they are supposed to stand up fast and exhale. Tell them to continue this practice for at least 20 reps even when they are completely exhausted.</p>

<p> They should be given a break of 5-10 minutes before switching to the leg curl machine to work on hamstrings. They are required to perform 4 sets of 15 reps each. During each set of Leg Curls, Stiff-Legged Dead lift should be performed with 4 sets of 15 reps. Hamstrings are vital for players speed, thus we would want them to be strong enough.</p>
<p> Finish the leg workouts on Standing calf-raise machine and doing 3 sets of 25 reps</p>
<p> The Incline bench press would be used to start the upper body exercises.<br /> Now when the they are warmed up they must go on by including enough weights so that the next set of 10 reps is harder to do. The players must repeat the 5 sets 10 times with weights, while stretching their chest and shoulders and at the end of each set stop and relax for 2 minutes.</p>
<p> Next are the pull-up exercises in this section of soccer strength training. They should work out on their biceps and back by making their palms facing their body. The last phase of upper body exercises is to concentrate on the abdominals and leg raises of about 5 sets of 20 or more repetitions. Then finish with 5 sets of 50 or more crunches or sit-ups.</p>

<p> One of the key principles of soccer strength training is, Specificity. The idea is that to train your players to practice in a manner which is similar to that when they play on the fields. Take for example running and swimming, a great exercise for runners and swimmers respectively.</p>

<p> The most useful workouts are the core lifts, like squats and deadlifts for forming these muscles. A comprehensive soccer fitness program giving due stress upon these two core lifts should work miracles for leg, hip, back and abdominal strength.</p>
<p> To concentrate on the shoulders, arms and back muscle areas the program should also include swimming.</p>

<p>Tell me the last time you explained to your team various soccer formations by using a <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_field_diagram.html">soccer field diagram</a>? If yours answer is “long time back” or “never”, it means that your team does not know much about positions and formations.</p>
<p> A majority of coaches believe that by just giving oral instructions to the kids, they’ll know everything and this is where they go wrong. The players must take part in the dialogue about formations on the field as they are an important matter.</p>
<p> These illustrate the soccer positions of the players in each part from the defensive line and as such are the planned choices made usually in the form of numbers. The formations need not be stringent and the coach must continue to alternate the players in a game. One very important thing is that the formations must be chosen keeping in mind the strengths as well as weaknesses of all players.</p>
<p> Some commonly used formations in the game of soccer are given below:</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/formations">Soccer Formations</a></p>
<p> 4-4-2: This is the most commonly used. The series 4-4-2 is derived from the idea that it comprises of 4 defending players, 4 mid fielders, and two attacking players excluding a goalkeeper.</p>
<p> The most important role in this formation is played by the midfielders who support the forward players during defense. In case of an attack, they must draw near the goal line and help out the defenders.</p>
<p> 4-5-1: This formation has five mid fielders and one forward player and is a defensive formation. The biggest benefit with this kind of formation is that because the midfielders are all focused in the center, the opposition cannot attack easily.</p>
<p> And then because there is only 1 forward, it makes the midfielders go forward which frustrates the opposition to get the possession of the ball.</p>
<p> 3-5-2: This formation has three defenders, five midfielders, and two forwards. This formation allows both attack as well as defense when 2 wingmen take up the attacking role and the center midfielder disallows for any counter attacks.</p>
<p> 3-4-3: The most forceful form of formation on the soccer field diagram that is brought into play when the opposition is defensive. Benefitting from three defenders, four midfielders and three forwards, the approach is to attack using the forwards and use the defenders if the opposition tears the defensive line.</p>
<p> There is no specific plan that will help throughout the match. It must be in line with the changing situations in the game. So a coach should employ the strategy of rotating the players as and when required. But any formation can be either offensive or defensive.</p>
<p> Efficient soccer tactics regarding formations are crucial as a team’s win or lose depends on it. As the game improves and becomes more dynamic, there will surely be more changes in the soccer formation strategies.</p>

<p> A well planned soccer fitness training course has the capacity to fully train the players even in less that 3 days time. All you need to do is be honest in carrying out the plan based on some good homework. There are one or two tips which work well with short but successful training plans.</p>
<p> Warming up: Instruct the players to start with any of the following; a five minute jog, high knees, jumping, or heel flicks. In the meanwhile, find time to rest to a minute or so. Then do some stretching for another 5 minutes that will tone up the muscles. Make sure that these soccer workouts consist of all the main muscle groups.</p>
