Phuket International Academy PIASLC Matches Up With Brazilian Soccer Schools for a Friendly
Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS) is now established in Phuket, Thailand, at the Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club (PIASLC). The preeminent youth soccer training programme is available at the finest sports and recreation facility in Southeast Asia.
Famous BSS is based upon Futebol de Salao (FDS). The training and game is known for a 5-a-side version of football with origins in Brazil. It is played with a smaller (size 2), and a little heavier (465gm) ball that has virtually no bounce to it. BSS Futebol de Salao is available as part of the PIASLC Brazilian Soccer Camp programme.

The sport of Futebol de Salão was popularized in Brazil where famous players such as Pele, Rivelino, Zico and right through to Juninho, Ronaldo, and Rivaldo were brought up first playing FDS before moving onto conventional soccer. They have all attested to the fact that Futebol de Salão developed soccer skills. The International Confederation of Futebol de Salao (ICFDS), established Brazilian Football Academies and Soccer Schools in the United Kingdom, and now oversee the sport across the world, and have setup professionally managed centre’s in many countries.
The PIASLC Brazilian Soccer Camps are a skills-based training system that is available throughout the year with emphasis upon school breaks. The Brazilian Soccer Schools system is intended for boys and girls aged between the ages of 5-18 with a prepared syllabus and training system specific to each age group and each ability level within the different ages. Training is skill centered, task focused and has one hundred percent involvement.
The central aim of Brazilian Soccer Camp is to give confidence to children to spend more time with the ball practicing and developing their skills. Brazilian Soccer Camp uses a distinctive ball for most of training, this is proven to aid children’s development and confidence.
